Intercomp LS630-WIM™ Low-Speed Weigh-in-Motion Axle Scales

The LS630-WIM is a portable weigh-in-motion scale system engineered to capture individual axle weights, axle group weights, and gross vehicle weight without requiring vehicles to stop. Built around a pair of wireless RFX scale pads, four roll-up ramps, and a choice of wireless indicator or PC software, the system can be deployed by one or two people in under 15 minutes and packs down to fit in a vehicle trunk.

Operating dynamically at speeds up to 10 mph (16 km/h) with an accuracy of 2 to 3 percent, and ±0.5 percent in static mode, the LS630-WIM accommodates nearly any vehicle regardless of axle count. Wide scale pads remove the need for precise wheel placement, including on axles with dual tires, while static accuracy meets NTEP and OIML requirements for direct enforcement use.

Data is collected and totalized through the IntercompWIM software or the PT20 WIM CPU, a self-enclosed, all-weather unit with a built-in thermal printer for on-site reporting. This makes the LS630-WIM suited to roadside enforcement, weigh station screening, logistics compliance, and remote site weighing where a fixed static scale is not practical.
